A Life Full of Promise
Born on March 20, 2007, in Clarksburg, WV, Samuel was the beloved son of Rebecca Alexis Maversa Isabel Holyfield Taylor and her husband John of Pittsburgh, and Joshua D. Flint of Shinnston. He is also survived by his brother Adam Fleming of Morgantown, as well as his grandparents, Walter R. and Donna Flint of Morgantown. Samuel’s extended family includes numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, along with his cherished dogs, Cash and Scout.

A Passionate Student and Athlete
Samuel was an active and enthusiastic member of Lincoln High School’s Senior Class. He was deeply involved in athletics, participating in sports like basketball, football, track, cross-country, and wrestling. Known for his love of fitness, Samuel enjoyed working out at the gym and playing video games during his downtime.
In addition to his school activities, Samuel was excelling at his job with Chick-fil-A, where he was recognized for his dedication and rapid growth. With a strong passion for health and sports, Samuel was well-prepared to pursue a career in physical therapy after graduation, a dream that reflected his commitment to helping others.

Those who knew Samuel remember him for his witty sense of humor, infectious energy, and ability to make friends effortlessly. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Samuel’s life during the following services:
- Visitation: Monday, October 14, from 2 to 8 p.m. at Perine Funeral Home (1348 S. Pike St., Shinnston, WV).
- Funeral Service: Tuesday, October 15, at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Pastor Michael Holyfield, Samuel’s great-uncle, at Perine Funeral Home.
