Felix Estevez Death & Obituary Las Vegas, Nevada: On Monday night, a motorcyclist was killed in a devastating collision with an SUV in the northwest valley of Las Vegas. The crash occurred on North Rancho Drive, north of North Torrey Pines Drive, around 7:02 PM, as reported by the Las Vegas Metro Police Department.
Details of the Accident
An initial investigation revealed that a 2020 Lincoln Corsair was traveling south on Rancho Drive at a high speed, while a 2013 KTM 1190 RC8 motorcycle was heading north, also at a high speed. Shortly before reaching the intersection, the Lincoln made a left turn into a private drive when the motorcyclist collided with the rear-right side of the vehicle.
The impact caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle and resulted in life-threatening injuries. He was promptly transported to UMC Trauma, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. The victim has been identified by loved ones as Felix Estevez, a 32-year-old resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Injuries and Investigation
Both the driver and passenger of the Lincoln Corsair also sustained injuries and were taken to University Medical Center for treatment. Authorities have indicated that there is currently no evidence to suggest that the Lincoln’s driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
