Charlie McLain Suicide & Death Nashville, Tennessee: Body of Missing Diabetic Charles Richard McLain Found in Mobile, Alabama

Authorities have confirmed that the body of Charles Richard McLain (known as “Charlie”), a diabetic from Old Hickory, Tennessee, was discovered near the area where he had been resting in Mobile, Alabama. Local authorities are now investigating his death, with initial reports suggesting a possible suicide.

Earlier, a search had been launched after Charlie was last seen on October 13, 2024, in Old Hickory, Tennessee. He had been on his way to work on Bridgeway Avenue but never arrived. His black Ford Fusion with Tennessee commercial license plates was located near Sells Drive, where his phone was found abandoned in a nearby field.

Charlie, described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, with brown eyes and black hair with a touch of grey, weighed around 200 pounds. His family had been deeply concerned for his safety, as he required regular medication to manage his diabetes. Despite extensive search efforts, he had remained missing until the tragic discovery.
