Tributes from Friends and Family:

“…you took care of Hollie Myers’ kids as if they were your own, and they loved you dearly. I will never forget you. You will always be my brother-in-law. It breaks my heart when my daughter asks when Uncle Zac is coming home, and I just don’t know what to tell her because it hurts so much. I’m going to miss you, but it’s not goodbye forever; it’s a see you later down the road. Please watch over us. R.I.P. bro, go win some races up there.”

“Yesterday, Zac Brunkala tragically passed away. He would have Hollie Myers bring him to my place to pick up his race parts. Over time, he went from being a customer to a friend. He even helped me out this past Mother’s Day by towing my car to a repair shop, ensuring I could attend the day myself. I will never forget our friendship. R.I.P., my friend. My condolences and prayers go out to Hollie and the kids.”

“…Sending my condolences and prayers to Richard Brunkala and the entire Brunkala family on the passing of Zac. In today’s world, it’s rare to find a dad who truly adores his children and family, making them a priority and putting them before himself. Zac checked every box and then some. In the four years I’ve known him, he grew immensely in every way possible—more than anyone I’ve ever seen. Life is unfair, and we’re going to miss you like crazy down here, but give them hell up there, 47x…”
