The Crowley Walmart was placed on lockdown Thursday evening following a shooting that left one man injured. Police Chief Troy Hebert confirmed that a man was shot in the parking lot of the store, although the extent of the victim’s injuries remains unclear.
Authorities have identified the victim as a white male. Police are currently on-site conducting their investigation. A statement from the investigating department noted, “A man was shot in the Crowley Walmart parking lot this afternoon. The victim has been transported to a local hospital.
