YouTuber and Kick Streamer Jack Doherty Crashes 2024 McLaren During Livestream

Jack Doherty, a popular YouTuber and Kick streamer, crashed his 2024 McLaren on Saturday morning while distracted by his phone during a rainstorm. Despite the dangerous situation, Doherty kept the cameras rolling throughout the incident. While live streaming on Kick, he lost control of the vehicle, skidded into the right lane, and hit a nearby security barrier.

Following the crash, Doherty’s Kick account was deleted due to a violation of the platform’s 13th principle, “Lawfulness,” which requires streamers to follow local laws and prioritize safety. According to Sportskeeda, the crash occurred in front of an audience of 185,000 viewers.

Road & Track reached out to Kick for comment regarding the ban, but no response has been received yet.

Doherty had previously disclosed on his YouTube channel that he purchased the McLaren for $202,850.10 at the end of last year. Since then, he customized the car with a dayglo paintball splatter design and installed a custom exhaust system. Unfortunately, the McLaren was totalled in the accident.
